“The quality of the food we eat comes from the quality of the food our food eats” – Jonny Bowden, ‘The 150 healthiest food on Earth’.
If you like to eat meat, poultry or fish, as much as possible, try to buy the ones which are “organic” and “grass fed”, “cage free” or “free range”.
The definition of organic is particularly important as it means that the animal was not injected with hormones, steroids and antibiotics. This is particularly important if you are a woman suffering from hormonal imbalance – you don’t want to have your problem worsen.
Whenever possible, also choose grass fed when you want to eat beef, otherwise it could have been that the cow you’re eating was fed with grains, which have a lesser nutritional value.
